Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning play GOD OF CARNAGE is set to play the Off Square Theatre Company from tonight, May 10th through May 19th. The production will take place at the Black Box Theatre at the Center for the Arts.

GOD OF CARNAGE is the story of two high-strung couples meet to discuss a playground altercation between their two sons. The veneer of politeness gives way to very bad behavior and descends into chaos.

Off Square Theatre Company was founded in 1998, and our theatre's productions and classes engage a broad and diverse spectrum of the community and the region. Each season, Off Square produces and presents comedy, drama, a youth musical and more. The theatre's education program, which gives children and adults a chance to hone skills and learn more about the theatre right here in Jackson, includes acting and singing classes, stage combat classes, theatre camps, directing workshop and Master Classes with world-class teachers. Off Square provides school-time performances for local schools at the theatre, and collaborates with many other community organizations, such as the Teton County Library, C-V Ranch and the Latino Outreach Center. Off Square Theatre Company ignites the imagination and sparks the soul through theatre.
